1. River sand mining costs is higher than mechanism sand

Now, River sand mining has banned in many regions, to conserve the natural landscape, ecological environment and so on. Due to the limited mining sites, the cost of river sand mining will be higher, combined with sand-iron ship, transport, cleaning and drying equipment as well as electricity, the expenditure is higher than investment of machine-made sand equipment.

2. The mechanism sand is getting better and better

Mechanism sand is derived from hard rock, clean, and with minimal clay content, so its strength can meet project needs. Grain of mechanism sand in the past is worse than natural river sand, so some projects would like to use reconcile sand. Today, the grain of mechanism sand is fully able to meet architectural standard, and the grading and fineness modulus control is better than River sand.

3. The price of mechanism sand is lower than that of natural river sand

Due to the low investment cost and high production efficiency of machine-made sand, the price of mechanism sand is lower and more competitive than that of natural river sand, so machine-made sand is more likely to be accepted by contractors and concrete operators.

Mechanism sand plant can be built at any place, while river sand plant only can be built near to river source, so mechanism sand can save a lot of time. The transport costs also can increase price of river sand so that buyers are discouraged.
