Brief Introduction and Working Process of Ball Mill
Ball mill is the key equipment smashing material which has already been broken, it is made up of some main parts including the feeding part, discharging part, turning part, transmission and other components.
As one of the high-fine grinding mill machinery widely used in industrial production, ball mill is applied in cement, silicate products, new building materials, the refractory, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metals and glass ceramics and other production industries for grinding various ores and other materials.
Ball mill can use both dry and wet grinding methods. There are various ball mills, according to the cylinder shape, they can be divided into short cylinder ball mill, long cylinder ball mill, tube ball mill and cone mill.
The cylinder of ball mill is long and cylindrical, it is made of steel, with steel liner fixed on. Inside the cylinder, there is the grinding medium, usually steel balls, stored according to different diameters and a certain percentage. The choice of the grinding medium depends on the granularity of the material to be grinded. Material enters the cylinder body from the hollow shaft of the mill feeding end. when the cylinder rotates, under inertia, centrifugal force and friction force, the grinding medium are attached to the cylinder liner and then taken away. When taken to a certain height, the medium fall down because of their own gravity, in this way, the material in the cylinder is crushed by the falling grinding medium.
