How does the Wet Type Magnetic Separator Work?
Our company has many years’ experience of making magnetic separators and our wet type magnetic separators have strong technical advantages and production strength.
If we want to make full use of the wet type magnetic separator, first we need to learn about the working principle.
When ore pulp flows into the cell body via the ore tank, they are forced by the water flow of the spray pipe into the loose condition. Then they enter the feeding zone of the tank. When the magnetic separator works, it uses the magnetic force which makes the magnetic materials get together to form magnetic balls or magnetic chains. These balls or chains in the ore pulp will move towards the magnetic pole and then be absorbed onto the round cylinder.
As the magnetic pole’s polarity is arranged alternately along the revolving direction of the cylinder and is fixed when it works, the magnetic balls or chains will fall down among the rotary nonmagnetic materials because of the magnetic stirring result as they rotate along with the cylinder. Then they are absorbed onto the cylinder surface as the finished ore concentrate.
When the ore concentrate moves to the point of the magnetic system with the weakest magnetic margin force, they are transported into the ore concentrate tank in the effect of the washing water sprayed by the ore unloading water pipe. The non-magnetic or weak magnetic minerals remain in the ore pulp and then flow out of the tank, thus forming the tailings.
The above process will be the complete procedure of the wet type magnetic separator.
